Social Lights Inc. is an Afro-Caribbean metaphysical shop in South Jamaica, Queens, NYC. Although established in 2019, Social Lights has been in the works for over a decade. I was looking for a way to combine my education in Development studies with my spiritual gifts. During my Master’s program, there was a heavy emphasis on human/social capital and the mobilization of globalization for good. A main theme was trade versus aid; so that members of a society have the means of living with dignity. In spirituality, you trade time and ego for finding wisdom and purposeful living. Social Lights was born to aid the shift of perspectives through pragmatic and esoteric practices.
At Social Lights, we carry handmade and bespoke (tailor-made for only you) spiritual items. We also offer spiritual events and services.
